ZeroWater's 11-cup water filter jug features a stylish Stainless Steel accent. The jug features our trade-mark Ready Pour technology to allow the dispensing of water while the reservoir continues to filter. The Stainless Steel finished filter jug uses the patented ZeroWater filtration system, which combines FIVE sophisticated technologies that work together to remove virtually all dissolved solids from your water. The result is great-tasting water, straight from the tap, and the only pour-through filter pitcher on the market that’s certified by the NSF to reduce lead.

ZeroWater's first layer of filtration, activated carbon and oxidation reduction alloy, removes the chlorine taste you are accustomed to with tap water. The Ion Exchange stage removes virtually all dissolved solids that may be left over from public water systems or even leached into your water from piping, such as aluminium, lead, zinc, nitrates, and more. Three additional stages are included to reduce other contaminants and ensure your water receives the appropriate amount of treatment time to deliver water that has virtually zero dissolved solids.

NOTE: In the factory, the filters are rinsed with purified water before being packaged in order to wash away the free carbon particles that are produced during the manufacturing process, as one of the filter layers is a carbon filter. It is normal to find some water when you open a new filter bag.

More information about this product
The filtered water from this 2.5-litre water filter jug has a delicious soft taste.
Because it has a residual value of 0 (no dissolved substances in the water), it is also perfect for making a cup of tea.
What makes it even better is that it is possible to pour water
with this water jug while the filter is still filtering.
In addition you can leave the jug on the kitchen top and use the tap at the back of the jug

to easily tap a glass of filtered water.

WHAT IS TDS?

TOTAL DISSOLVED SOLIDS

Dissolved Solids are a measurement of compounds like minerals, salts and organic compounds that are dissolved into water through contact with rock and other surfaces. TDS can be made up of several different types of compounds (including but not limited to): calcium, magnesium, iron, sodium chloride and sulfides (which are compounds frequently found in groundwater supplies).

*Increased levels of TDS (total dissolved solids) may affect taste and appearance of your water.

ZEROWATER FILTER INCLUDES:
what is TDS
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) refer to minerals, salts, metals including lead, chemicals, fluoride and runoff polluting your drinking water.

ZeroWater Technology is the only water filtration system to remove 99.6% of TDS, equivalent to TDS in purified bottled water.

ZeroWater's first layer of filtration, activated carbon and oxidation reduction alloy removes the chlorine taste you are accustom to with tap water.
The Ion Exchange stage removes virtually all dissolved solids that may be left over from public water systems or even leached into your water from piping such as Aluminum, Lead, Zinc, Nitrate and more.
Three additional stages are included to remove other contaminants and to ensure your water receives the appropriate amount of treatment time to deliver a "000" reading on your laboratory-grade Total Dissolved Solids meter included.

Stage 1: Coarse filter to remove fine particles/sediment.
Stage 2: Distributor that maximizes contact time.
Stage 3: Multi-layer system using activated carbon and oxidation reduction alloy.
Stage 4: Comprehensive ION EXCHANGE array.
Stage 5: Non-woven membrane to remove fine particles.

The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water treatment device are not necessarily in all users' water.

AND WHEN SHOULD YOU REPLACE THE FILTER?
Unfortunately it is not possible to give an exact lifespan for the filter.
This is because the amount of contamination is different per water tap.
In order to know when you should replace the filter, you receive a free TDS meter with each jug.
You put this in the water every week to test whether it is time to replace the filter.
Would you like to know more about the TDS meter or how you assemble the water jug?
Please read the complete manual. (LINK HERE)

PELASE NOTE!
Do not use with water that is microbiological unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection.
Unless stated otherwise, municipal water is drinkable.
Filtered potable tap water tested by an independent lab (not the FDA) to meet specifically the water quality requirements for using the label purified.
Compared to water produced by leading gravity fed filters.

AMOUNT OF WATER CAN BE CLEANED
The water inspection device (TDS meter) is calibrated and ready for use.
The TDS meter shows the number of dissolved particulates in water in parts per million
(1 ppm = 1 milligram of dissolved solids per liter of water).

When dissolved particulates in water are present (according to TDS evidence):
from 002 to 050 ppm (low polluted water) – clears ~ 150 liters
from 051 to 200 ppm (the most common contamination) – clears from 95 to 150 liters
from 201 to 300 ppm (a lot of particulate matter) – clearsfrom 55 to 9 5 liters
from 301 to 400 ppm (particle very much) – clears from 30 to 55 liters
above 401 ppm (particle extremely high) – clears 30 liters or less
